Blackblue Posted 8 January , 2005 Author Share Posted 8 January , 2005 Sorry guys. Thanks for all the help but I may be barking up the wrong tree? These men all survived. I have seen details of survivors posted from the National Roll on the forum and seen it mentioned in Spencer's book. It is something I never considered checking so thought I'd give it a crack. Smart and Robertson were from Glamis, Forfar, Scotland. Dawe's were from Gloucester area (Redmarley). Also after 311734 Gnr Joseph Bowman, 1/1 Northumbrian (North Riding) Heavy Battery, RGA. He was from York. Regards Tim
