Mates,

Can you give siome details of the shooting down of this bloke.

He is shown on the AFC webb site as Driven down 16th March 1918 but no other details.

I did hear that Sgt Wagner of 48 Sqn (Jasta) shot him down in France?

He was a POW after this.

2Lt W H Nicholls was flying Camel B5208 of No 4 Sqn AFC when shot down near Annoueullin-Mericourt at about 1005 on 16 March. A victory was credited to Vizefeldwebel Gilbert Wagner of Jasta 29 - it was the second of the three victories credited to him before his death in action on 12 April 1918.
