familyhistoryman Posted 30 April , 2018 Share Posted 30 April , 2018 The Friends of Darwen Cemetery will be unveiling a memorial that commemorate Darwen’s contribution to the war. The memorial will be unveiled on 1st July. The Cemetery contains 70 Commonwealth War Graves (69 men & 1 woman). There are another 8 graves for military men who are not eligible for a war grave.
