Stuart Brown Posted 6 February , 2005 Share Posted 6 February , 2005 I am looking for the entries around 3rd Sept 1916 The following gives indication of the location of the 17th. MM citation in respect of 27675 Sgt , Brown W. 17th (Welbeck Rangers) Battalion L.G. 9.12.16 "Awarded for gallantry and devotion to duty during an attack on the enemy lines at Beaumont Hamel on 3rd September 1916".
