understandIng concentration sheets

I have come across a concentration sheet which contains one named man.most of the rest are unknowns yet means of identification is the same , Uniform .Cross. No mention of ID tags how could the one man be named?

At the top of the column, it says that A refers to the particulars found on the cross, whereas B refers to particulars found on the body.

 

In all cases, there appear to have been no particulars found on the body, and only two crosses named.
