Bernard_Lewis Posted 25 May , 2003 Share Posted 25 May , 2003 I think it is E.A.James who did the book that lists which battalions were attached to which higher formations during the war? I'd like to confirm the 'path' through the various formations taken by the 14th Welsh Battalion - it was 38th Welsh Division (114th Brigade) in the main but there were some other 'attachments' to other corps etc. I think. If someone could do a look up and post the results (or e-mail) I'd be grateful. Bernard Lewis
Chris_Baker Posted 25 May , 2003 Share Posted 25 May , 2003 No need Bernard. It's all on this website. Go to www.1914-1918.net Click on Tommies Then click on Infantry Then find the regiment, and all details will be laid before you.
Bernard_Lewis Posted 26 May , 2003 Author Share Posted 26 May , 2003 Doh! How stupid of me! Trees, wood and eyesight spring to mind but not in that order. Thanks Chris - I'll check that out. Bernard
