Japster Posted 5 March , 2018 Share Posted 5 March , 2018 Hello there, I`m after a scan of the contents of the various medical panniers as contained within the Field Service Manual 1914, Army Medical Service, Expeditionary Force, can any kind soul help? Pictures of the specific contents would also help enormously!

MaureenE Posted 5 March , 2018 Share Posted 5 March , 2018 Perhaps this might be what you are looking for https://archive.org/stream/b21539224#page/80/mode/2up from Field Service Manual, 1913 : Army Medical Service (Expeditionary Force). Reprint. Includes 1914 War Establishments. Archive.org. Although reprinted in Melbourne [Australia], this appears to be a reprint of a War Office, British Government publication. Wexflyer Posted 6 March , 2018 Share Posted 6 March , 2018 Can someone explain why these surgical supplies, appropriate for a CCS or hospital, not a regimental aid post, were being supplied commercially? I would have thought they would be government issue?
