Merci Walbeer, that little area of Comine-Warneton is a favourite of mine - so much history to see.

Pete.

Walbeer.

Here is a free French text for you to translate and publish with my agreement. As part of the commemoration of the centenary of the First World War, the Government of New South Wales in Australia is upgrading the Anzac Memorial from Hyde Park to Sydney. An exhibition will feature 100 soil samples taken from important battlefields in the history of the Australian Army. The Ploegsteert wood sample will be transported to Australia and will be part of the new exhibition at the Anzac Memorial in Sidney. Walbeer.

Diplomatic bag would be ideal place to send them

This would have been organised through the Australia government so the samples would have been zapped before arrival to kill all the potential pests, weeds and pathogens.

Right you are....the legal process to import soil samples is all about protecting farm land, and our food chain.
