Remembered Today:

William Waddell premises, Wishaw

Recommended Posts

I'm researching British tank and tank component production.  In doing so, I've realised some of the buildings where the work took place still exist, and I'm trying to get details of these before they bite the dust.

One I'm concerned about is the workshop of William Waddell in Russell Street, Wishaw, together with the shop next door.  The business finally went into liquidation last year so I'm afraid the site may be sold for redevelopment, and maybe the building has already been lost.  All I have are images from Google Streetview.  I'd be really pleased to hear from a Pal who would be able and willing to photograph the building for me.  (I'm in west Wales so Wishaw is a little distance away...)

Many thanks
