Margosh Posted 31 January , 2018 Share Posted 31 January , 2018 The new-ish museum at Nieuwpoort? Under the King Albert statue (worth seeing in itself) and next to the small British Memorial to the fallen. Small but interesting museum about flooding of the area in 1914, with excellent views if you go up top. A bit blustery! http://www.nieuwpoort.be/nieuwpoort/view/en/nieuwpoort/the_great_war/westfront_nieuwpoort

The website shows 17/03 to 11/11 week days 10.30 am to 17.00hrs and weekends 10.30am to 18.00hrs. Last entry 1 hour before closing. I’ve been in May, August and November
Regulus 1 Posted 1 February , 2018 Share Posted 1 February , 2018 Zeebrugge Churchyard cemetery - Commonwealth/German cemetery St-George's Day Raid, Zeebrugge Memorial at the start of the left Mole, where also the original Mole started. Atlantic Wall museum is great indeed, but better to this at the end of the summer, as the WW I battery Aachen will be completely reconstructed in the way it was in 1918. Should open around May or June.
