Gada de Guivry Posted 19 January , 2018 Share Posted 19 January , 2018 Hello everyone, I live in Guivry, a small village in the north of France (Aisne), on the edge of the departments of Oise and Somme. British soldiers came to fight in my village during the Great War and we hope that some of you can help us find their identity. We will certainly be able to help you find documents concerning this war in my area. My English is very bad, too, excuse me. MBrockway Posted 22 January , 2018 Share Posted 22 January , 2018 We've kinda answered this query about British unit dispositions around GUIVRY in Gada's other topic. Here's the map from the British Official History (OH) I posted there ... and another map from the OH showing when the French lines were taken over by the British Fifth Army ... And here's a link to the other topic: Mark
