Help identifying cap badge?

Hello, I need help identifying a cap badge in a photograph and what unit it belonged too. The cap badge is as follows a spoked wheel with two crossed rifles under it (i do not have a picture at hand, sorry), the photo is dated 1915 and the person in the photo is from the North east of england. I have been told he was in the Northumberland Fusilers, but the cap badge he has is not the NF cap badge.

If it has a no Scroll it may be The Northern Brigade Cyclist Corps

It does look like the ACC, but there is no lettering under the wheel, and teh badge itself is 'bigger'. I will look more closely the next time i see it. Thanks

Yes that sounds like the Northern Cyclist Battalion of 1908~20{K & K #1866}

Thats it, thanks a lot. Does anyone know where they fought during the war, or where i could find a history of them?

I suspect if your man served Overseas he was posted to another Unit @ sometime,a Check of the Online Medal Index Cards* May reveal this.
