Hello.

I have searched on the internet and the parent site to find out what an RM prefix to a military number means. I can not find the answer so i am posting here.

Can anyone help me?

More information required. If R.M.A. (Royal Marine Artillery) or R.M.B. (Royal Marine Band) but need to know in what context tou have found this prefix and what era it relates to.

Marc,

This MIC is for a Sapper in the Royal Engineers. The service number starting with "WR" relates (as far as I'm aware) to Royal Engineers Waterways & Railways.

Les.
