I am trying to trace any surviving Enlistment Books 1924-18 war for the Royal Field Artillery. Do thery still exist, if so are they availble for the research of an individual soldier? Guest StephenW Posted 29 December , 2004 Share Posted 29 December , 2004 Julian You can try visiting the RA Museum and library in Woolwich but I am unsure if they hold the enlistment or attestation records. They have war diaries but I am not certain if they have the enlistment books as when I last visited about 18m - 24m ago we came away without this informnation but I cannot remember for sure if we asked to see the books!
