Lieut - Gen. Walter Norris Congreve, V.C., Divisional Commander

son William La Touche (Billy) Congreve, V.C.

One of only three father and sons to have won the V.C.

I'm sure I have a photograph of a Lt. Plumer's grave, probably near Ieper - I'd have to find the shot. Not sure if he was a relation??

covered this previously under 'Sons of Generals died in the war' but think most are covered here again. Walter Briathwaite lost a son.

Arm.
