I does look like a training trench in that it's very neat and clean and in open country without damage. I suspect It's not Salisbury Plain, the soil doesn't look right and there's mature hedgerows in the background that don't look like open chalk downland. The block work on that trench wall facing the camera suggests clay that they expect to harden, like the boulder clays of East Yorks, though again it doesn't look like Holderness.
