RossHR Posted 20 December , 2004 Share Posted 20 December , 2004 My grandfather (Sergent H Hamilton) was a sergent on the wagon train serving in Salonika from November 1916 to March 1919. He signed up at Hackney East London In Nov 1915 after returning from South Africa. I have a leter from the paymaster to the Officer commanding 18th Bty, 3rd Bde RFA Salonica Army regarding my grandfathers Boer War service. I would be grateful for any information about the 18th Bty , 3rd Bde RFA. I have a number of his letters from the front, but they are all heavily Censored.
