Remembered Today:

Navy List abbreviation query

Recommended Posts

Someone has just texted me to ask what the bold lower-case m stands for next to a medical officer's name in the Navy List.

think it may be printed black-letter (gothic-looking) and stand for the officer having completed his medical degree, but I'm not sure.

As I'm on leave (afloat, appropriately enough) and only have my phone, which doesn't magnify the archive.org screen, so can anyone help?

Thank you!
