CROONAERT Posted 18 December , 2004 Share Posted 18 December , 2004 RAVC is the Royal Army Vetinary Corps. 9/12 Lancers are what it says - the 9th/12th Royal Lancers (Prince of Wales), an amalgamation of the 9th (Queens Royal) Lancers and the 12th (Prince of Wales Royal) Lancers which occured in 1960.
