Ian C Posted 6 June , 2017 Share Posted 6 June , 2017 Hi I don't suppose anyone has a map showing where the 9 RDF were in action over these four days, I think they were in the Vlamertinghe/Zonnebeke area? Regards IanC

Ian C Posted 6 June , 2017 Author Share Posted 6 June , 2017 Hi Jon Thanks for that, yes that is the date in the tag. I have seen the war diary, but was hoping to get a map, I am in touch with the 91 year old niece of Terry Doherty MM, who was KIA on 17.8.17 and she would like to see on a map where he was in action. John Milner Posted 7 June , 2017 Share Posted 7 June , 2017 If the dates above, 15/18 Aug 1917, are correct then the 9th RDF were engaged in the Battle of Langemarck. If you want a map and short description of their action send me a PM with your e-mail address. John
