tybers Posted 20 December , 2004 Share Posted 20 December , 2004 The trenches were dug on historical lines, there was a discussion on this a while ago (here is the link) which Mark Horner from Salient Tours explained how they were dug and includes some earlier photos of the trenches. I stayed at the Kasteelhof hotel, where the trenches are, last April and although I couldnt help but wish they could be more heavily maintained, they do add something to your stay.
