pbrydon Posted 18 December , 2004 Share Posted 18 December , 2004 Following a recent topic asking for details of insignia worn by the 6th Battaion Kings liverpool Regt, I thought details of a coat which the battalion made for their Jack Russsell terrier mascot might be of interest. The coat appears to be made from an army blanket and has a pair of embroidered Liverpool Rifles shoulder titles, a pair of first pattern 55th Division signs ( seven leaves ).service stripes and the 6th Kings battle insignia i.e. 2 dark grees strips worn vertically on the back below the collar.
