Another great set of postcards (?). Where do you get them from mate?

I like this one - any ideas on what Skerry's were training women to do? It looks like commercial training i.e. typing, but I can't work out how that would help to fill men's places. Perhaps it was using the war as a ruse to get women into the wicked world of work!

Excellent artwork and colour, have you anymore?

The classiest image I have seen to date.

I do not have a clue who/what Skerrys did, but I would like to know.

Regards

Richard

What woman wouldn't yearn to go to Skerry's, if she could live up to that image - the decoration on the cuffs even seems to have a little of the 'officer' about it! This is the only other one I have - very plain, but another example of a woman in good shape :)

It's not dated though, and on second thoughts is probably WW2

Hi Sue

many thanks for the WLA poster, another 'nice one'.

Funny, that the error in the address is printed.

Regards

Richard
