Sparky53 Posted 16 December , 2004 Share Posted 16 December , 2004 It would be really useful if the seach engine allowed you to search by Regiment Then you could get an idea of where surviving soldiers were at a certain time Does anyone know if there is a workaround this? doogal Posted 16 December , 2004 Share Posted 16 December , 2004 Hi, There is no quick way. Naval & Military Press sell a searchable CD of this - I assume it can search by regiment. Costs roughly £200. Send an enquiry to the CWGC asking for a search. They are helpful, but it could take about a month. Perhaps the Regimental Museum could help. They may have the CD mentioned above, or even their own database, and would be willing to run a quick search for you. That's all I know. Sorry not to be able to offer more avenues than that regards doogal
Terry Denham Posted 16 December , 2004 Share Posted 16 December , 2004 CWGC will certainly produce a report for you sorted by a specific regiment etc. Email them for a cost quote on casualty.enq@cwgc.org
