US Declaration of War

The USA declared war on Germany 100 years ago. Hope I am not mistaken; surprised that there has been no mention, At least I have not noticed any.

I hadn't noticed any other mention on the GWF besides yours...thanks for that.  There's a fair amount of press over here (in both paper and electronic formats) about this and the short and long term effects of our involvement, which was good to see.

There was a pretty large commemoration at the Liberty Memorial and Museum in Kansas City (inc Flyover by French display team).

As Daniel says - lots in the papers too.

This is in the WaPo was interesting to me as the subject of my book was on the same ship and took similar photos!

Quite a bit of coverage in local media here in the Midwest too.
