Laurent were these photos taken in 1917? At least in your 1st and last pics the ground doesn't look as broken up as I would have expected it to be, and there are still entact trees. Thanks (as always) for sharing them though. Andy

The top photos shows French tanks knocked out on the Chemin des Dames in April 1917. The second one is at Bullecourt; one of eleven tanks knocked out there in the fighting on the Hindenburg Line.

It's tank No 799 and it appears in many German photos; I have four different ones to this!
