Remembered Today:

Anzin-St-Aubin, Arras, April 1917

I have located a gun position, 226th Siege Battery, RGA,  at L.6.a.0.3 (Sgt. John Costello was killed at this gun and his grandson, Jonathan Costello, would like to visit the site).  It is near Anzin-St-Aubin, northwest of Arras.  Unfortunately the N&MP, McMaster and the NLS maps stop just east of this position.  Are there any map collectors who might be able to help me?  It is somewhere in 51c N.E.

Many thanks

Bob

Hello Eddie

This is remarkable.  I thought I had searched the NLS site but obviously I pressed the wrong buttons!  I even have the GPS positions with the maps so though I can't use Linesman trench-maps, at least I can use the modern overlay map.

Many thanks

Bob
