delta Posted 28 March , 2017 Share Posted 28 March , 2017 Grateful if any pal living to the west of Norwich could take a picture in Wreningham Church of the memorial to Raymond Edwin Bothway. He was one of the First Tank Crews serving in C Company and he later served with 3rd (Light) Bn Tank Corps. He died in 1927, "after long and grievous suffering from the wounds he sustained during the war." The memorial was placed there by his wife Betty who had to fight to get it approved. Raymond is also commemorated on the village memorial https://www.warmemorialsonline.org.uk/memorial/132988/

barkalotloudly Posted 2 April , 2017 Share Posted 2 April , 2017 most church yards in Norfolk are rural!!! some more than others unfortunately some of them are not looked after very well, and trying to find a particular grave can extremely difficult.
