HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 15 December , 2004 Share Posted 15 December , 2004 Doe's anyone have a comprehensive list of DCM's Awarded to the following battalion's 4th Middlesex 8th East Surreys Cheers Blackie Walker's DCM Register will list ALL DCM to these Regiments However as some DCMs where Gazetted without Battalion Details,You may have to use Medal Rolls Etc,To Adjudge which of those Listed & Not Marked with a Battalion Number are also to the Battalions you seek. NB:Middlesex Had 238 DCM 7 Bars 1 2nd Bar of these only 25 are designated 4th Battalion ,Around 1/3rd have No Bn Number listed. NB:East Surrey Rgt had 137 DCM & 2 Bars of which only 17 are shown as 8th Bn; with around 1/3rd again with no number shown. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
