Acknown Posted 9 March , 2017 Share Posted 9 March , 2017 Can anyone advise me? On some VAD cards I have accessed on the Red Cross website (see http://www.redcross.org.uk/About-us/Who-we-are/History-and-origin/First-World-War/Card?sname=foyster&id=78438&last=true for example), 'Honours awarded' include: FAPB, NPB and Associate (?) Service Badge. I assume that NPB is 'Nursing Proficiency Badge', but what is FAPB and for what were these awards, and the ASB awarded? Thanks. Acknown. alf mcm Posted 9 March , 2017 Share Posted 9 March , 2017 Acknown, I think FAPB would be First Aid Proficiency Badge, and ASB could be Ambulance Service Badge. Regards, Alf McM
