I'd be grateful if you could copy the pages for the 9th Norfolks at the battle of Loos 26/9/15.

Many thanks

Could I get a look up of what the 8th Battalion Norfolks were up to on

17 July 1916.

Ian .

Nothing really mentioned between the 3rd July (when they were relieved) and the 19th (when they were ordered up the valle NE of Carnoy to be ready for a counter-attack on Delville Wood).

By all accounts, they were at "Grovetown Camp" (on the Albert-Bray road) or "Trigger Valley" in training on the 17th July. On the 18th, they bivouaced in the Talus Boise salient, just east of Carnoy.

Dave,

Thanks for the info it is very much appreciated. I discovered though I made a mistake on the date I gave you.It was the 19th of July 1916 I was looking at for the 8th Norfolks. Any other info you have on the 19th would be great.

Sorry for the mistake Ian.
