Fattyowls Posted 28 February , 2017 Share Posted 28 February , 2017 Steve, this is excellent. Really atmospheric in the winter sunlight. The follow on above Delville Wood and Longueval is really good too. Pete.

Steven Broomfield Posted 28 February , 2017 Share Posted 28 February , 2017 Nice piece. I was fortunate enough to attend the inauguration of the Liverpool Jock memorial a couple of years ago - a very moving event. 27 minutes ago, Fattyowls said: Steve, this is excellent. What impresses me is that the camera operator can keep the lens so steady while he or she is suspended from the wingtip. It seems to require a an aeronautical skill level not seen since the wing walkers of the 20's and 30's. Steve, I shared the Youtube clip with the granddaughter of Jack Borthwick who was badly wounded in Delville Wood in 1916, and who is quoted on the Memorial to the Footballers' Battalions in Longueval. She was really impressed both with the unusual vistas and how intrepid you are. Pete. Edited 2 March , 2017 by Fattyowls Spelling
