Information sought on isolation hospital records and death rates

Hello all,

 

Please can anyone help point me in the direction of where I might find some facts and figures about the following:

Finding , accessing records of individuals who died in isolation hospitals

Did hospitals provide some form of return concerning the numbers and causes of death? 

 

I am trying to identify and establish how many soldiers died in isolation hospitals during WW1 and what the primary causes of death were.

 

Any assistance / direction gratefully appreciated.
