Antrim enlisted: Glasgow died: 10/08/16 rank: TPR. number: 735 His greatgreatgrandniece Lynda wrote this "discovered that my grandmother’s uncle, Robert W. Scott, was killed in action in France on the 10th of August, 1916. I have an old photograph of him but do not know which branch of military he served. He was born in Manister on 5 May 1879. DrB Posted 13 December , 2004 Share Posted 13 December , 2004 Life Guards...that regiment had that particular type of braid on their cuffs. Also one of the last regiments to wear a cap badge. Has a marksmans device on his left sleeve and two long service as well. Langleybastion can tell you more about the crossed rifles than I can.
