I have this medal in my possession.  1914 -18 war. SS 5438 GB CHATFIELD RN.

Would love to get it back to the family if possible.  I am a Veteran, and live in Kent.

Had at least one child, a daughter called Shirley A Chatfield, birth registered January 1938, Uckfield registration district, died 24 September 1994.

Shirley married a Thomas E Hobbs, marriage registered June quarter 1961, Uckfield registration district.

The couple appear to have had a son born in 1966 (birth registered in Uckfield District) -- I won't name him as he may still be alive but the link below will take you to his birth registration on FreeBMD (a free site)

This man married married in October 1992, marriage registered Uckfield district.

Edit: I can't find any children of this marriage.

The son born in 1966 was still alive in 2017 as he appears on the UK Electoral Registers & Companies House Directors database, he was living in Uckfield.
