These photos were from Alfred John Kemp's Photo Album..

The cricket match photos were taken at Harefield Park Hospital

on 1st Oct 1915 England. Sister Smith behind wickets 3rd photo and at wickets in 4th photo..

The Two sister photo is of Sister Smith and Sister Jones

Some lovely pictures - really atmospheric.

 

I think the wicket could have done with the heavy roller, though.

Great photos - thanks for sharing!

 

There were 2 Sister Smiths serving at Harefield in Oct 1915, and they were actually sisters (ie. siblings) - Elsie Dora Smith and Winifred Jean Smith.

The Sister Smith referred to in 3 of these photos is not Winifred, who wore glasses, (pictured here, where I've just added her details):

So would therefore be her younger sister Elsie Dora Smith.

 

There were also 2 Sister Jones's at Harefield in Oct 1915 - Edith Jones and Maggie Jones - Edith wore glasses, Maggie didn't.
