Remembered Today:

31st Division

Hi,

Im looking for any info on the location and actions of the 31st Division between 12th September and 18th October 1918. I know they were part of the XV Corps of the second army, and they were involved in the Final advance across Flanders during this time. Unfortuneatly there is no Divisional History for the 31st, so have come a bit stuck here. Any books/reference material people can refer me to would be great. Or if you have any info yourself amongst your extensive libraries.

Thanks Aaron.

Hi Aaron,

Not exactly what you're looking for, but the 11th East Lancs (92nd Bde, 31st Div) diary from 1st October to 11th November 1918 is at

http://www.pals.org.uk/armistice.htm

For the attack at Ploegsteert Wood on 28th September, try

http://www.pals.org.uk/psteert.htm

By all means contact me directly if you need anything outside of these periods.

All the best,

Andrew
