roel22 Posted 27 November , 2016 Share Posted 27 November , 2016 (edited) Can anyone help me to decipher what's written in the center of this German map (in black), next to "Friedhof" (in red)? Looks like "Me..e.und, but I can't find the right word. The word is between two arrows, one pointing to the road, one to a trench. Thanks in advance! roel22 Posted 28 November , 2016 Author Share Posted 28 November , 2016 (edited) This map, posted by David Faulder 5 years ago, shows where the messenger dogs got their messages: HQ 5th York & Lancaster, corner Vierstraat/Molenstraat. (This map and the one in post #1 are from summer 1918 and show Vierstraat/Kleine Vierstraat, north of Kemmel).
