Mark Hone Posted 13 November , 2016 Share Posted 13 November , 2016 Forum pals who watched this year's Festival of Remembrance may be interested to know that the sunset lowering of the Union Flag at the Thiepval Memorial, shown at the end, was carried out by members of Bury Grammar School CCF and filmed by the BBC during our recent Somme Centenary Battlefields Tour. 11 old boys of the school are commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
