armourersergeant Posted 17 May , 2003 Share Posted 17 May , 2003 Ok i have the third brother of my photo collection as seen in previous post He joined the army, royal engineers in late 1915 he was commisioned to 2nd lieut from corporal as reported in the london gazette 23rd august 1915. By end of war he was a captain with the russian and military cross. Only thing is that the gazette does not show any mention of him being awarded this medal (M.C.)
