John Gilinsky Posted 9 November , 2016 Share Posted 9 November , 2016 (edited) Hello. A new Canadian museum dedicated to the First World War and called "Canadian Centre for the Great War" opened in November 2015 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Overwhelmingly if not exclusively a private museum but accessible reasonably to the public by weekend admission by donation the museum's founder, Mark Cahill opened the museum exhibiting materials from his large World War I collection. It is currently seeking a larger venue to display far more of Mr. Cahill's collection. Here are some Canadian news stories that have photos and/or videos: Globe and Mail (Toronto, Ontario) Tuesday, November 8, 2016, page A7 (colour photo and caption) Montreal Gazette (Montreal, Quebec) November 4, 2015 (updated November 11,2015) with 3 distinct videos and several photos of exhibited materials of all sorts. http://montrealgazette.com/news/local-news/a-living-history-of-canadas-great-war-effort-a-century-later Here is the main page of the Canadian Centre for the Great War https://greatwarcentre.com/ Here is the CONTACT page of the Canadian Centre for the Great War https://greatwarcentre.com/contact/ I earnestly hope that as many GWF members will visit, donate and generally support this Canadian endeavour. Thank you et merci beaucoup pour votre assistance! John Edited 9 November , 2016 by John Gilinsky
