Thanks for posting this, The information about the Mars Offensive are of particular interest to me. It differs in some places with my current information.

You're welcome. I don't know for sure, but my guess is that this book https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0415558794/ref=pd_sim_14_10?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=AYF5S9RE399XT2EAD99C is a result of his thesis. Here (in the U.S.), all things pertaining to the German military have been in fashion for many years, and most of the historians that delve into the Great War usually concentrate on them exclusively. I'm sure there must be one or two, but offhand, I can't think of a single author that concentrates on U.K. or French military themes.
