Identifying a hospital in the UK

I am at present researching the life of 2nd Lt F A Campbell Tank Corps, who was wounded and evacuated back to the UK at the end of 1916. Frustratingly the name of the hospital he was treated at in the UK is unclear. See the attached photo from his service record at Kew. Any ideas as to which one it would be please  Many thanks. Trevor

The handwritten bit says "Rock Ferry" which is i think in or near Birkenhead on the Wirral.
