Would someone have photos of the Loos Memorial (panels 78 - 83 for Black Watch)? I'm looking for Private Robert Bain S/6249 2nd Black Watch.

He's my son in law's great grandfather.

Michel. Thanks so much for this! I have found out quite a lot about him in the last week from the UK records, but I do not have his army service record. He is listed as being 2nd Battalion Black Watch, but I found on his daughter's birth registration in April 1915 he noted as serving with 8th Battalion Black Watch. I'm thinking he volunteered and  joined 8th Battalion between October 1914 (when he was married) and April 1915 and possibly transferred to 2nd Battalion when he went oversees in June 1915. He was 26 years old and left behind his wife of 19 years and daughter of 6 months.

if you want, it's possible to take another picture about the 2nd R.H. sector at the 25th september 1915.

it's along the Vermelles / Hulluch road.

I leave near & I work in the battle of since 35 years ago.
