Terry Denham Posted 6 December , 2004 Share Posted 6 December , 2004 The IWM info will be coming from disks supplied by CWGC and it will be a static copy just like the version on CWGC's own site. Therefore it is not capable of correction. IWM would have to obtain a new updated set of the data from CWGC. I don't know what the agreement is between the two organisations about this. The same will apply to any other copies running elsewhere in museums etc.
dycer Posted 7 December , 2004 Share Posted 7 December , 2004 Thank you for the reply Terry. I assumed as much. Not a problem to us as we know the most reliable source for information is the CWGC. It is to be hoped the various Curators of Museums, etc who hold casualty information obtain the latest disks from the CWGC.Or probably better still refer enquiries for information to the CWGC Web-site.
