Guest Percy Toplis Posted 30 August , 2016 Share Posted 30 August , 2016 My query is; was there any set form for the medical that determined whether or not a serviceman was fit enough to go back to the front (what criteria did they use to determined or detect malingerers and how did they differentiate those individuals from individuals who could be invalided out)? I've read a lot around specific aspects of the Great War and I've realized I have only a vague idea about the procedure (I am also wondering if it was anything like the toxic Work Capability Assessment which seeks to determined if the disabled are fit for work or can continue to receive Employment and Support Allowance, as that I have experienced). Thank you in advance for your time.
