robins2 Posted 10 August , 2016 Share Posted 10 August , 2016 numbers and letters engraved on the front strap of grip usually indicated that the pistol was issued to a police dept. I believe the #6 to be the number of the pistol issued and Div 12 to be the unit /div. are there any other engravings, usually there are some letters indicating the area of the dept. regards Bob R.
