Can anyone tell me why or if he is there and I'm just not seeing it? Thanks, Robert
Terry Denham Posted 2 December , 2004 Share Posted 2 December , 2004 Here he is... Do you have any evidence other than SDGW for your version of the spelling? Date of Death: 01/08/1917 Service No: 41311 Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead Grave/Memorial Reference: VI. G. 3. rhimsl Posted 2 December , 2004 Author Share Posted 2 December , 2004 Terry, I was just going by the SDGW and have no other source. I was cross referencing other LOADER'S to find any family connections to a Gallipoli casualty and this one poped up. I guess that is why I couldn't find it. But then the question is which one is correct? SDGW or CWGC? Robert
Terry Denham Posted 2 December , 2004 Share Posted 2 December , 2004 I will ask CWGC tomorrow but his MIC gives LOADES with the initial S for Samuel. There is a H.J.Loades as well but with a different number.
