This photo was taken at Hereford Cemetary.

Can anyone let me know what the initials after his name stand for.

Incidentally, I can't find him on the CWGC site. Does anyone have any information on him?

Regards

Martin

Thank you Andy & Terry. Very helpful. This will help me to complete his record for the Bristish War Memorial Project. Incidentally, his brother R S Harding is also buried and commemorated on the same grave but his inscription cannot be read.

I wonder why I could not find him on the CWGC website. I did a search on Harding HJ but came up with a blank.

This is not the first time this has happened.

Might seem like a silly question, but did you put a space between the initials, i.e. "H J" instead of "HJ"? If not, it wouldn't find a match.
