TTracer44 Posted 1 July , 2016 Author Share Posted 1 July , 2016 Hello All and thanks for all your replies, my Guardsman Sydney William Druce 9428 did the whole stretch, so it was as a reference that I wanted the War Diary, can I ask how many Megabits the diary would amount to from Ancestry and would I be better off getting it in book form or is there a history of the Regiment that would do a better job. GraemeClarke Posted 1 July , 2016 Share Posted 1 July , 2016 Hi The easiest option would be the NA. He went overseas 12 August 1914. For about £3.50 each you can have the diary in PDF form http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C7351963 http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C7351834 The Regimental History is available as a download https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=mdp.39015074828552;view=1up;seq=11 https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=mdp.39015074828560;view=1up;seq=9 Regards, Graeme
